Service Changes
Highfield Interchange will be closed from the 04th of August to the 1st of September for essential infrastructure works. There are also service variations on Monday 18th of August and during the Bank Holiday, on Monday 25th of August. Paid Student Helpers
Uni-link are looking for paid student helpers to work on the university Open Days 5th and 6th September 08. Must have local knowledge. Please apply in person to the uni-link office at the Travel Centre Bldg. 57 Monday - Friday 9.30 am - 2 pm.
New Maps for Isle of Wight Residents
Leaflets with the maps, timetables and directions from the Isle of Wight to Southampton Airport and from the Isle of Wight to Southampton Hospitals, are also available from various outlets on the Island, such as the Tourist Information Offices, the Southern Vectis Travel Shop in Newport and Libraries. St Mary's Hospital in Newport will be offering the maps to IOW patients with Hospital appointments in Southampton.

Uni-link's Office Summer Times
From Monday the 7 July 08 ,the opening hours for the uni-link office at the Travel Centre will be:
Monday - Friday 9.30 am - 2 pm
The Uni-link office will be closed on Monday , the 11th of August, for staff training. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause.
Open Day -5th & 6th of Sept 2008
We expect that uni-link buses will be especially busy with people attending the University's Open Day, particularly between West Quay, Avenue and Highfield campuses, and also between Wessex Lane and Highfield campus. All uni-link services will be affected.
Although we will be hiring several extra buses to serve demand, please consider if your journey on uni-link is really necessary on 5th and 6th of September ...just for those days only, of course!
