Why get a mini card?
Uni-link buses are popular and often busy. Yet the time spent at stops is much less than with other buses. This is because many passengers use smart cards. As many as 70% of all uni-link journeys are smart card enabled and introduction of the mini card will help increase this figure.
Use of a smart card makes life easier for both passenger and driver, with fewer cash transactions taking place.
You don’t need a mini card if you have a University (Student or Staff ) card or a SmartCities card http://www.smartcities.co.uk/
Where can you get a mini card?
Mini cards can be bought from the Uni-link driver or from the Uni-link office.
Penalty Fare
*Please note that you may be fined £5 if you are found travelling on the bus without a valid ticket or if you breach smart card conditions.
